This FREE Mental Health First Aid course, funded by the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority through state and federal grants, is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance-use challenges, as well as how to help someone experiencing a mental health crisis.
Learners must attend and participate in a 7.5-hour, Instructor -led training.
Location: 500 Elm St., Suite 0100, Dallas, 75202
After the course, you must complete the final exam to be certified as a Mental Health First Aider. For general questions about the course, please contact us at [email protected].
Available for any resident of Texas, 18 years or older. You must be in attendance the full day, participate and complete the post course work to be certified.
If you are unable to attend after enrolling in the course, you must notify us immediately to open up seats for waitlisted participants.
