Adult Horse Camp (Fall 2024) (For SotH Graduates / Master Students Only)

Cost is $425 if pay in full or $450 + Eventbrite fees if pay in installments. 8-10 participants permitted. See further details below on pricing and payment plan.

This camp is hosted by Betsy Moles Fajen, owner and lead trainer at Natural Horse Solutions, LLC at her home facility, Wild at Heart Ranch in Canton, Georgia. Camp is held Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. This particular camp is for anyone that has taken the "Student of the Horse" course, Betsy's foundation course to natural horsemanship. It will focus on furthering and applying your knowledge from SotH and help you refine your skills both on the ground and in the saddle. A typical day consists of morning sessions on the ground and afternoon sessions in the saddle. We will save rainy days to focus on educational activities such as lectures and simulations. We keep the schedule fluid in order to accommodate the specific needs of the participants.

You have the option to bring your own horse or use a ranch horse (based on availability). If bringing your own horse and need to board your horse at the ranch for duration of the camp / overnight, additional fees apply. No stallions please. Owner is responsible for bringing your own feed, hay, and hay bag as well as feeding your horse and cleaning the pen/stall. We will provide you space on our front porch to store your feed and tack. Note for all off-property horses, you are required to provide a negative Coggins dated within 12 months.

We will eat on property daily. You can bring your own lunch or run out to local food establishments. We break around 12:00 for lunch and start tacking up at 12:45 for afternoon session.

PAYMENT: Cost of the camp is $425 if pay in full (no Eventbrite fees) or $450 + Eventbrite fees if pay in installments.

- Full Payment Option: Send inquiry to [email protected] to note request to pay in full. Upon receipt of email, we will confirm availability, request payment, and provide a promo code to bypass payment in system. Venmo preferred. Other options available.

- Installment Option: If opting for installments, $225 deposit is due immediately upon registration via Eventbrite. Remaining payment due one week prior to start of camp. Venmo preferred. Other options available.

- Horse Lease: $100 / week. Based on availability. Payment for horse lease will be handled separately / outside of Eventbrite.

- Horse Boarding: $10 to $20/day based on the option you choose. Based on availability. Payment for boarding your horse at our ranch will be handled separately / outside of Eventbrite.

CANCELATION POLICY: Camp deposit is due at the time of registration and is nonrefundable or transferable unless noted as follows. We reserve the right to cancel any camp due to low participation within one week of the scheduled camp or if Betsy is unable to perform the camp for any reason. In the event of such, you will be contacted, and a full refund will be granted. Betsy Moles Fajen / NHS is not responsible for any additional losses in the unlikely event that we need to cancel the camp. If participant cancels prior to one week before start of camp, and the rider’s spot is filled, the participant will receive refund on deposit. It is not the responsibility of Betsy Moles Fajen / NHS to fill the rider's vacant spot; however, anyone that is on the registered waitlist is offered spot as first priority. Any other refunds are at the discretion of Betsy Moles Fajen / NHS and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
