Adult Hand-Building Pottery Workshop at Rock County

Discover the art of ceramics alongside a friend and craft your own unique handbuilt project. In this 2.5-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to construct pieces using various tools. Possible projects include bowls, plates, mugs, and planters. Every workshop offers a new experience as you bring your creativity and enjoy the process. Aprons are provided, and all supplies are included. Pottery requires time to fire. After your class, we’ll apply a food-safe glaze (you pick the color) to your piece and fire it in our kiln. Your finished pottery will be microwave and dishwasher safe. We’ll notify you by email or phone when it’s ready for pickup, typically about three weeks after your class. Please note, we can only hold finished pieces for up to 30 days. This event is open to adults (18+) interested in pottery, regardless of experience level.
