Come playfully create abstract assemblage sculptures inspired by natural habitats. Advanced registration required. Ages 16+
Inspired by shapes and lines found in our local habitats, participants will use wire and fabric to create abstract assemblage forms. The wire provides the armature for wrapping fabric or paper and shapes are easy to take form and be constructed in a playful way. Each participant will experiment with shape, color, texture and the power of negative space and shadow. Assemblages could become hanging sculptures or stand alone on found base.
Ages 16+
All materials provided and no experience necessary. Advanced registration required; space is limited.
Registration closes Friday, October 16th at 12pm.
