About this Event
Trailblazers is thrilled to bring Adult First Ride to Pea Ridge! If you never learned how to ride a bike or it's been a long time, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Trailblazers instructors and trained volunteers will be there to guide you every step of the way.
Adult First Ride is split into four sessions, covering crucial topics like balancing, pedaling, braking, shifting, turning, safety, and more. (See the Agenda for more details) Whether you're just learning how to pedal or seeking to enhance your abilities, this class is made for you.
Since Pea Ridge has easy access to gravel roads, our fourth session will specifically address the unique safety and handling skills needed for riding on dirt and gravel surfaces.
No bike? No problem. Bikes and helmets and all learning equipment will be provided by Trailblazers. (Our standard class bike is the Specialized Roll 2.0, with a 300lb weight limit.)
Interested in taking a FREE bike home? For those who join us for the full series, you can leave with new skills AND a free refurbished bike and helmet thanks to our partnership with Pedal It Forward. (Be sure to sign up for all classes and choose the Free Bike Add-on when purchasing your ticket!)
Location: Our first three sessions will take place at Pea Ridge High School in the southeast corner of the building property. Please see the image below and look for Trailblazers!
NOTE: Our fourth session will take place at Baker Hayes.

This class is FREE but hey, here's the deal – this class is available thanks to community and sponsorship support and grant funding. If you register but something comes up, no worries. Just cancel 48 hours before, so someone else can have the opportunity to jump in on the fun.
