This is a holiday of Union--both between the Goddess and the God and between man and woman. It is a time of fertility and harvest, the time for reaping the wealth from the seeds that we have sown. We celebrate life and the unity which fosters it. The myths of Beltane state that the young God has blossomed into manhood, and the Goddess takes him on as her lover. Together, they learn the secrets of the sexual and the sensual, and through their union, all life begins.Our ritual will be lead by Rev Willow and our President Joe. There is no cost to attend. Service will take place outdoors, weather permitting. After ritual is closed all are free to stay and socialize with bonfire and music.
This event is 18+. Ritual begins promptly at 7:00 pm, so please try to arrive early to park and get situated.
No photography is permitted on church grounds without expressed consent of the CEL Executive Board, and those who wish to be photographed. No alcohol is allowed at this event.
