Adult Autism Group - Liberty Bell Coffee Shop Drop-In, Birkenhead

This is a weekly drop-in session at Liberty Bell Coffee in Birkenhead.

Volunteers will not be at the drop-in on April 1st, but Liberty Bell will be open for business as usual following their opening times for bank holidays.

Liberty Bell is an independent coffee shop and bistro and the staff are very helpful and accommodating of our needs.

You can turn up any time between 10.30 am and 1pm and find the group in the coffee shop for a chat over delicious drinks and food. There is a very informal atmosphere where you can talk about whatever you want with other autistic people. Or, if you prefer to just sit and enjoy the company without having to join in with the conversation, there is no pressure to talk. There are some board games available for customers to play and group members are welcome to bring some of their own. Liberty Bell is dog friendly if you need to bring a canine friend for support. For anyone new to the group and wanting to join us at the drop in, look out for Liz with her four wheel zimmer. The other volunteers will be wearing sunflower lanyards.
