Join us for a morning of carpentry making a tool box!
Spend some quality time together with your child or young person, learn basic carpentry techniques and tool use.
Doing something practical is so important for our mental well-being and creativity. It also teaches important life skills. In this workshop you will learn how to make a simple toolbox from wood. You and your child / young person will learn how to mark out and saw wood, how to use a screwdriver, hammer, nails and screws.
You will walk away with a finished box so you can start your very own tool collection and keep all of your tools safe. You'll always be able to find them again and carry on using them at home!
course ticket is for 2 people: one child or young person (8-16 years) and one adult (any age or gender).
Please note: You can be the parent, carer, auntie, granddad, godparent, as long as you are over 18 and are responsible for the young person or teen.
