General Info:ADTTA are running a Banded singles event for our league players, at our dedicated table tennis facility at Balgownie Pavilion, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, which will take place on Saturday 28 February from 9.30am.
The event will be aimed at players with a rating of less than 1000 as per Ratings Central and you will have used this already in the handicap League and KO cups locally. You can also find your rating on Stadium Compete.
Specific event details:
All entries will be sorted in rating order and put into 2 groups (or bands) of 8 players, so you will play against players with approximately the same rating as yourself regardless of age, current Division, etc and you are guaranteed 7 matches across the day.
There is no handicap system, so each game will be the best of 5 ends to 11 points, as per standard league play.
We are looking for 16 players playing over 4 tables (2 tables per banding); first come first served for entry as our numbers are limited to 16, but we will run a waiting list if we reach the maximum number.
All results will be uploaded on Ratings Central.
