Adriana’s Citizenship Fundraiser

Hi all!!

Welcome to my fundraiser, and this time is for me! 

I’m doing a gig at Shakie’s with friends, musicians and other artists to raise funds for my naturalisation.

I’m doing this also as a way of celebrating the people who welcomed me and as a public commitment to finally doing this before more stringent immigration laws that  seem to be coming (because times are changing)  make my situation here  unstable. It's just in case, because to get residency, even though I came to this country legally, I had to get up to the Supreme Court, so let’s hope it all goes well.

Now, I have smashed everything: Life in the UK, C1 Proficient Level of English, I pay taxes and National Insurance, I have been here for 15+ years, I have volunteered, I managed to keep out of trouble, never been to the can, I contributed to my community and I even gave a brand new little British subject to the Kingdom. My home is here now.

Also,  to be honest, travelling is a bit  difficult when your country is in a t£rr@rist list and facing the largest migration and economic crisis in their contemporary history. 

There will be prizes, laughter, games , dance and live music by musicians and artists including Son Guarachando and guests, pretty much is like house party vibes. 

You can also donate as much or as little as you want by getting a ticket here, even if you cannot make it!
