About the Event:
The Adult Spelling Bee is a fun, spirited fundraiser that brings together the community to compete in a lively spelling showdown — all in support of adult literacy. This event celebrates learning, community spirit, and the joy of words, while raising critical funds to support our adult learners.

The Adrian Rea Literacy Center provides 1:1 tutoring for adult learners. Volunteer tutors are matched with adult learners and provide weekly tutoring catered to the learner’s needs. ARLC also provides ESL classes at beginner and intermediate levels.
