Description
Join Ageing and Dementia Research Centre at Bournemouth University for a showcase of our ongoing research and innovations, alongside initiatives led by local community organisations.
Key note speaker - Dr Kate Adie CBE
Dr Kate Adie CBE will be delivering a keynote that inspires and challenges attendees to think positively about ageing, drawing on Kate's experiences as a journalist who has witnessed extraordinary events, social change, human resilience, and adaptation across the world.
We will also be joined by:
- Community Partners who will highlight what is happening in the community
- ADRC research participant groups who will share their experiences from contributing to research at BU
- A diverse lineup of researchers who will present and showcase ongoing research projects

Lansdowne campus is located in the city centre and is easily accessed via bus and train links. For more travel information please see this link.

Parking options
There is limited parking onsite, please do not park in the Bournemouth Gateway Car Park without prior permission as it is run by an external company.
Blue Badge Holders - there are 8 bays available. Please email [email protected] if you require a Blue Badge bay.
St Paul's Lane Car Park - a new car park has opened 2 mins walk away on St Pauls lane. It is cashless and you will need the Ringo app to book. The cost is £6 for up to 6 hours.
