Adopt an abandoned pot or sculpture! Our wonderful public clay studio has acquired a fair amount of abandoned ceramic works and we would love to give them a second chance.
Come in during gallery hours during May 28th-31st to pick out a piece or 2 of unglazed ceramic pieces, glaze them yourself using our provided glaze/underglaze, and then you can take them home in 3-4 weeks (pending kiln firing schedule). We will have clay studio volunteers on site if you have never glazed a piece before with us to lend a hand. We will also have some pieces that have been fully glazed that can be adopted too!
This event is donation based as we look to fundraise for our clay studio to help with rising supply/energy costs so whatever you are able to give to support the studio is appreciated. Open to all ages!
