Adopt-a-Bear: Half Term & Halloween Special

The FIRST sustainable teddy bear workshop is back for one week only this October half-term. If you are looking for a technology free activity with creativity, imagination and sustainability at its heart: look no further than Thrifthood's Adopt-a-Bear experience.

Workshops run daily from 28 October to 3 November: our weekday and weekend timetables can be found below.

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL

Face painting, Halloween themed crafts and a goody bag are included with our Halloween special tickets, only available on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 October.

ADOPT-A-BEAR

Millions of teddies across the UK are looking for new homes, after being outgrown or unwanted by their previous owners. We know these bears have an abundance of love to give so it is our mission to find them all new homes and encourage everyone to adopt, not shop when it comes to our beloved bears.

At Thrifthood’s Adopt-a-Bear experience, Sarah & Chan will guide you through the teddy rehoming journey. You will start by choosing your one of a kind bear from our extensive collection of over 200 teddies, naming your teddy and completing their story card.

As our teddies were unwanted or outgrown by their previous owners, they need your help to get their confidence and sparkle back. Your bear will realise how special they are after their personalised pampering session: you will choose your favourite scent and create a personalised accessory for you and your bear - a party hat, superhero cape or matching friendship bracelets.

Next up is creating a bed for your teddy, so it feels comfortable and safe travelling to its new home. The final step of your rehoming journey, before you and your bear can continue making lots of new memories, is making it official by signing the adoption certificate and ringing the adoption bell.

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL

On Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st October we will be celebrating Halloween with facepainting, costumes and Halloween themed crafts. Best Halloween costume of the week will win a prize!
