The Young Professionals of the Coastal Bend will be volunteering for the Texas General Land Office’s Adopt-a-Beach Clean Up at North Beach Bay, hosted by the Texas State Aquarium. Since 2013, thousands of volunteers and staff have collected a heaping 112,776 pounds of trash along 9 miles of Texas coastline at North Beach Bay. Help the Texas State Aquarium and Texas General Land Office clean North Beach during the annual Adopt-a-Beach Spring Cleanup. Cleanup supplies will be distributed in individual kits, available for pickup on the Aquarium’s front lawn. Please wear closed-toed shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle.
MEETING POINT: Our Young Professionals of the Coastal Bend group will meet on the left corner of the Center for Wildlife Rescue, next to the parking lot of the Texas State Aquarium.
