About this Event

The ADNC Narrative Power Summit is a one-day, high-impact experience designed to reclaim narrative power and place it back where it belongs, in the hands of our communities.

Headlined by Phillip Scott, Founder & CEO of African Diaspora News Channel (ADNC), the Summit centers the critical role of Black-owned media in shaping truth, influencing policy, and driving economic and cultural change. Under Phillip Scott’s leadership, ADNC has become a trusted global platform that challenges distorted narratives and amplifies voices long ignored by mainstream media.

This landmark gathering brings together Black journalists, media professionals, creators, activists, policy thinkers, and community organizers from across the African Diaspora. Attendees will hear from international keynote speakers from the United States and across Africa, alongside Toronto-based journalists, cultural leaders, and policy influencers actively shaping public discourse.

Through powerful panels, unfiltered conversations, and practical insights, participants will gain tools to challenge misinformation, counter harmful narratives, and use media strategically for advocacy, accountability, and economic empowerment.

And yes,

this is also an experience.Guests will:

  • Walk the Black Carpet Media Wall
  • Capture professional photos
  • Enjoy a delicious dinner and curated drinks
  • Network with fellow changemakers
  • Enjoy a live music performance by Juno award winning artist, Carlos Morgan and his band, along with special guests
