About this Event

About the Event

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are among the most commonly diagnosed neurodevelopmental disorders in childhood — affecting attention, executive functioning, social communication, emotional regulation, learning, and daily functioning. Increasing recognition of co-occurring ADHD and autism, often referred to as AuDHD, has highlighted the importance of nuanced assessment and individualized support.

This workshop provides an overview of our current understanding of ADHD, autism, and AuDHD, including early indicators, diagnostic considerations, differential diagnosis, and common co-occurring symptoms. Participants will explore evidence-based approaches to identification, intervention, and support that promotes functional outcomes across home, school, and community settings.

About The Professional Event Series

We are hosting a series of free professional events to support evidence-based practice in children’s mental health. This is an opportunity for pediatricians, teachers, educational consultants, and mental health professionals to collaborate and network to support youth mental health. We hope you will join us.
