Join SCAD survivors, friends & family, medical professionals and supporters to raise much-needed money for ground-breaking Australian medical research to beat SCAD heart attacks.
The first 400 adults to register will receive a SCAD t-shirt with thanks to the QANTAS Side-by-Side grant!
Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) tends to strike healthy, fit adults with no risk factors for heart disease. 90% of sufferers are women with an average age of just 42.
We’ll be meeting from 9:30am Sunday 25th October at Angas Memorial in Angas Gardens (near the corner of War Memorial Drive & Sir Edwin Smith Ave) and from 10am we'll be walking in a 5km loop.
As this is a fundraising event it will go ahead rain, hail or shine.
Money raised goes to Australian Medical Research to better understand, diagnose, treat and ultimately prevent SCAD Heart Attacks. Registration and donations are tax deductible and every dollar makes a difference!
