Catalina Bronstein (Part 1): Addressing the body: self-harm and violence in adolescence

Catalina Bronstein, MD, is a Fellow and Training analyst of the British Psychoanalytical Society and Visiting Professor at the Psychoanalysis Unit, University College London’. She is a former President of the British Psychoanalytical Society. She is a child psychotherapist trained at the Tavistock Clinic in London and then became a psychoanalyst at the Institute of Psychoanalysis. She is a child, adolescent and adult psychoanalyst

Catalina Bronstein works at the Brent Adolescent Centre in London and in private practice with adults and adolescents. She has written and published many book chapters and papers. The latest publication is a book co-edited with Sara Flanders: Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis in a Changing world: Children on the Edge.

Sarah Flanders (Part 2): Adolescence: Rupture, Helplessness, Omnipotence ".. the adolescent has the right to near psychotic processes" Anna Freud.

Sara Flanders is a Training and Supervising psychoanalyst of the British Psychoanalytical Society. She works at the Brent Adolescent Centre in London and is Co-Chair of the Child and Adolescent Forum of the European Psychoanalytical Federation. Sarah Flanders has published widely. The latest publication co-edited with Catalina Bronstein is: Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis in a Changing world: Children on the Edge.
