ADDM Academy Annual Autism Walk

Due to rain, our April 11 event has been postponed to 4/26/26. But rain won’t stop us.

Get ready to step out and support an amazing cause at the ADDM Academy Annual Autism Walk. It’s an in-person event where friends, families, and community members come together to celebrate awareness and inclusion. Lace up your sneakers, bring your energy, and let’s make a difference while having a great time!

Prepárate para salir y apoyar una causa increíble en la Caminata Anual de Autismo de ADDM Academy. Este evento en persona reúne a amigos, familias y miembros de la comunidad para celebrar la concientización, la aceptación y la inclusión. Ponte tus tenis, trae tu energía y acompáñanos para hacer la diferencia juntos mientras creamos momentos llenos de alegría.

Join us for the Autism Walk Family Fun Day hosted by Autism Doesn’t Define Me Academy on April 26, 2026 at Ted Watkins Park in Los Angeles.

This is a free community event filled with connection, celebration, and purpose. We are inviting families, friends, advocates, and supporters to come together and walk for someone they love. Whether you are walking for your child, sibling, student, or friend, this is a day to show up with pride and unity.

Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the walk will begin at 10:00 AM. We will walk together around the park in a supportive and uplifting environment. The walk will be safely escorted by Los Angeles Police Department CSP.

We are excited to share that our warm up will be led by Councilmember Tim McOsker to get everyone energized and ready to move.

This is more than just a walk. It is a full Family Fun Day with games, activities, music, community resource vendors, free raffles, and giveaways throughout the event.

The first 40 registered families who check in the morning of the event will receive a free gift bag. Please note that it is one gift bag per registered family. If you are attending as a group or team, it is one bag per group, not per person.

Grab your team. Invite your family and friends. Wear your team shirts. Make signs. Walk with purpose. Walk with love.

Everyone is welcomed and everyone belongs.

Acompáñenos al Autism Walk Family Fun Day organizado por Autism Doesn’t Define Me Academy el 26 de abril de 2026 en Ted Watkins Park on Success Avenue En frente del área de la piscina”

Este es un evento comunitario gratuito lleno de unión, celebración y propósito. Invitamos a familias, amigos, defensores y miembros de la comunidad a caminar por alguien que aman. Ya sea que camine por su hijo, hermano, estudiante o amigo, este es un día para presentarse con orgullo y unidad.

El registro comienza a las 9:00 AM y la caminata inicia a las 10:00 AM. Caminaremos juntos alrededor del parque en un ambiente positivo y solidario. La caminata contará con escolta de seguridad por parte del Los Angeles Police Department CSP.

Nos alegra compartir que el calentamiento será dirigido por el Concejal Tim McOsker para llenarnos de energía antes de comenzar.

Este evento es más que una caminata. Es un Día Familiar lleno de juegos, actividades, música, recursos comunitarios, rifas gratuitas y obsequios durante el evento.

Las primeras 40 familias registradas que se presenten la mañana del evento recibirán una bolsa de regalo gratuita. Tenga en cuenta que es una bolsa por familia registrada. Si asisten como grupo o equipo, será una bolsa por grupo, no por persona.
