The Adaptive Equipment Exchange is a free community event designed to connect gently-loved adaptive equipment with individuals and families who can use it.
Many families have equipment that is no longer needed, while others are searching for items that can improve safety, mobility, communication, independence, and quality of life. This event helps bring those needs together in one place.
Items may include mobility equipment, adaptive seating, communication devices, sensory items, bath and toileting equipment, adaptive strollers, walkers, wheelchairs, and more.
The Adaptive Equipment Exchange is presented by the Disability Resource Fair of NWPA and will be held at Mellon Heritage Veteran's outreach Center on October 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Additional details regarding donations, available equipment, and event procedures will be shared as the event approaches.
