Adapting True Stories for Fiction, Film & TV

A true story is raw material, not a finished product. This stimulating class covers the craft and responsibility of turning real events into compelling fiction, film, and television, from finding a story's spine to adaptation techniques, as well as the legal and ethical lines every writer of true stories must navigate. Anthony Leigh Adams is a writer and producer whose work has appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, and OWN. He will teach the class with examples of his work across all three media. The course is practical, interactive, and suitable for all levels. For more details and to enroll, visit: https://writeyourstorynow.org/
