Join Jessi Schacher Tuesdays in September to deepen your practice and learn the foundations of the poses!!
This workshop style series will be a led Ashtanga yoga practice with focus on ways to adapt the asana (pose) for every-BODY. Ashtanga could be viewed as a difficult practice, but actually every movement and posture can be adapted to be accessible to all. Asanas are customizable and adaptable. You don’t have to force yourself into a pose. We will flow through postures from the Ashtanga yoga Primary series exploring many options for movement as well as ways to utilize props. This will be a great series for beginners, or anyone desiring extra insight and instruction for fundamental yoga poses. The postures of Ashtanga yoga show up in all vinyasa flow classes which makes the ability to adapt your practice valuable knowledge for all. This series will help you feel confident making adjustments and modifications that feel right for your body.

Jessi has been practicing and teaching Ashtanga yoga for 6 years. The evolution she has experienced in her own practice inspires her to share this method with others. Jessi completed the Evolve teacher training in 2017 and recently completed a 40 hour intensive training with David Robson at the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto.
