This special performance is being hosted as a fundraising event in support of the Meyer family following the tragic passing of 12-year-old Kira Meyer, who was critically injured in a freak accident on Mother’s Day and later succumbed to her injuries.
Adam Tas, known for his authentic South African storytelling, heartfelt lyrics, and unique stage presence, will bring an evening of emotion, inspiration, and outstanding music to Barnyard Menlyn. Guests can look forward to some of his greatest hits, honest storytelling, and an atmosphere where music brings people together for a greater purpose. The evening will also include a special auction where funds will be raised to assist the Meyer family with outstanding medical expenses not covered by their medical aid. Kira was a beloved young girl with a HUGE love for life, her family, music, and ice skating — a bright light who left a deep impact on many hearts. This event is an opportunity for the community to stand together, bring hope, and support a family during their darkest time.
