About this Event
The Winter Night Club Presents Adam Schrager
We’re pleased to welcome Adam Schrager – award-winning journalist, author, and professor – as our featured speaker.
After dinner, Adam will focus on:
1) Governor Ralph Carr & Moral Courage in Wartime
Adam will share the story behind his book “The Principled Politician,” highlighting:
- How Colorado Governor Ralph Carr stood almost alone in opposing the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II
- The political and personal cost of that stance
- What Carr’s example can teach us today about leadership, conscience, and the rule of law
2) “The Blueprint” & the Transformation of Colorado Politics
Adam will also discuss “The Blueprint,” the influential book he co-authored with former Republican legislator Rob Witwer, which explains:
- How Colorado’s political landscape changed so dramatically in the last two decades
- The strategies, organizations, and long-term planning that reshaped the state
- Lessons for anyone interested in campaigns, coalitions, and the future of our politics
This will be an evening for people who care about:
- Colorado’s political and civic history
- The challenge of leading with principle under pressure
- Understanding how ideas, organization, and strategy can change a state
Seats will be limited for this Winter Night Club gathering, so we encourage you to reserve your spot soon.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening of good conversation, good company, and a powerful reminder that leadership still matters.
