Brauchen wir Regeln, um uns frei zu fühlen? Seid dabei, wenn Cantus Domus zusammen mit der Cellistin und Komponistin Anne Müller und dem Jazz-Schlagzeuger Andi Haberl genau das erkundet. Gemeinsam werden wir eine Klangwelt erschaffen, in der Improvisation, Minimal Music und zeitgenössische klassische Musik aufeinandertreffen.
Unter anderem wird Terry Rileys legendäres Werk „In C““ zur Aufführung kommen - erstmals in einer chorischen Fassung.
Begleitet uns bei unseren musikalischen Grenzgängen zwischen Intuition und Ratio, Planung und Spontanität, Struktur und Freiheit. Taucht mit uns ein in träumerische Klangbilder und die hypnotische Welt repetitiver Musik. Und seid gewarnt: Es kann gut sein, dass Ihr hr den Konzertsaal in einem anderen Zustand verlasst, als Ihr ihn betreten habt.

Do we need rules to feel free? Join vocal ensemble Cantus Domus, cellist and composer Anne Müller (Erased Tapes) and jazz drummer Andi Haberl (The Notwist) as they explore just that. Together we will create a world of sound where improvisation, minimal music and contemporary classical music meet.
The programme includes Terry Riley's legendary work 'In C', performed for the first time in a choral version.
Join us as we explore the musical boundaries between intuition and reason, planning and spontaneity, structure and freedom. Immerse yourself in dreamy soundscapes and the hypnotic world of repetitive music. And be warned: you may well leave the concert hall in a different state to when you entered.
