Featuring Sound Immersion by Annette Vazquez
and Acupuncture by Allison Laird, L.Ac.
August 30 - 6:00pm-7:15pm
Step into a deeply restorative evening designed to nurture balance, renewal, and connection with the rhythms of nature and the changing seasons.
This intimate AcuSound offering combines the therapeutic benefits of acupuncture with an immersive sound journey, creating a space where you can fully unwind, soften, and simply receive.
Rooted in the wisdom of Chinese medicine, each session explores the energetic qualities of the current season or seasonal transition. Through the lens of the Five Elements, we support the organs, meridians, and emotional themes most closely associated with this time of year, helping the body adapt gracefully to seasonal shifts while cultivating greater ease, vitality, and wellbeing.
Participants receive acupuncture tailored to the seasonal focus, encouraging the free flow of energy, calming the mind, and supporting the body’s natural capacity for healing and restoration.
As the needles are placed, you will be immersed in layers of crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, grounding drums, Koshi chimes, and subtle rhythmic textures. Together, sound and acupuncture create a deeply nurturing environment for the nervous system, inviting the body into a state of profound rest and repair.
This offering provides an opportunity to release what no longer serves, reconnect with yourself, and settle into a sense of presence, balance, and inner calm.
No prior experience with acupuncture or sound healing is necessary. Simply arrive as you are and allow yourself to be held in a supportive space designed for deep relaxation and renewal.
This collaborative offering invites you to reconnect with your body, align with the wisdom of the season, and cultivate a deeper sense of balance and wellbeing.
Following the session, guests are invited to enjoy a thoughtfully curated tea selected to reflect the energy and essence of the season. This final element of the offering provides space for reflection, integration, and connection while settling into the cozy atmosphere of the teahouse.
About the Space
This experience will be held at The Nook, a cozy and intimate teahouse designed to support relaxation and connection. The warm, calming environment enhances the experience, creating a space where you can fully settle in, feel supported, and unwind.
To support a seamless and uninterrupted experience, please arrive at least 10 minutes early. Doors will be closed once the session begins.
What to Bring:
Shikifutons and couches are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat and a pet-hair- and smoke-free blanket for extra comfort. We recommend dressing in layers, as body temperature can change as you settle into deep relaxation.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be easily rolled up above the knees and elbows to allow access to acupuncture points without needing to change clothes.
Our goal is to help you stay warm, relaxed, and comfortable throughout the entire experience.
The Nook is a shoe-free space, and socks are required.
During the session, you may be asked to remove your socks to allow access to acupuncture points on the feet. Please remember to put them back on before getting up and moving around the space.

About Annette
Annette Vazquez, of Yoga and Sound for All, offers accessible yoga, meditation, and multi-instrument sound immersion experiences designed to support healing, mobility, relaxation, and deep rest for people of all ages and abilities.
Her journey began during a time of personal challenge, when she was searching for peace, healing, and a way to reconnect with herself. After a 27-year career in the financial industry, she felt called to slow down, shift direction, and explore a more intentional and balanced way of living.
Yoga became a powerful tool in her own healing, including managing arthritis through mindful movement, breath-work, and restorative practices.
As a Certified Multi-Instrument Sound Healing Practitioner through the Sound Healing Academy and a certified yoga teacher with specialized training in restorative, yin, accessible, and chair yoga, Annette creates experiences where sound is not only heard but deeply felt. Her approach blends crystal and Himalayan bowls with grounding drums, Koshi chimes, and subtle rhythmic textures, offering a supportive space for the nervous system to settle.
Her sessions are intentionally paced, inclusive, and accessible, welcoming all bodies, backgrounds, and experience levels.
