Activism Day brings together environmentalists, nature enthusiasts, families, friends, and gender justice advocates for a shared experience rooted in restoration, education, and manifestation. Includes conversations with conservation staff about habitat protection and endangered species care and folklore in spaces to build solidarity and collective vision, reflecting belonging and appreciation of the river! Homosassa Springs, a major natural freshwater spring, has spring water mixed with tidal saltwater from the Gulf of Mexico, making it a valuable habitat for marine life.
