Action For Humanity Presents: London Islamic Treasure Hunt

Join us for a unique, educational, and competitive challenge through Central London. The London Islamic Treasure Hunt, delivered in collaboration with Halal Tourism Britain, takes you on a journey to uncover the city’s hidden Islamic history — all while raising vital funds for Action For Humanity’s Gaza Firewood Project.

Participants will form teams, solve clues, travel to historic sites, and end the day at the iconic East London Mosque for celebrations and prize-giving.

💷 Registration Fee: £10 (covers partial cost of a London Day Travelcard, AFH will subsidise the rest of the costs)

🎯 Minimum Fundraising Target: £150 per participant

This is no ordinary day out — it’s part race, part Islamic cultural adventure. You and your teammates will be challenged to locate 10 significant Muslim heritage sites across London, solve clues, and document your progress with group photos. The route combines history, teamwork, and the thrill of discovery.

📍 Location: Central & East London, UK. Start point: Trafalgar Square. End Point: East London Mosque.

📅 Date: Saturday 4th October 2025

👥 Participants: Individuals will be put into teams of 5, or you can sign up as a group of a five!

👤 Eligibility: Adults 18+ and children (must be accompanied by an adult)

• Join a pre-event briefing (two weeks prior) via Microsoft Teams
• Participate in the full-day challenge and follow group guidelines
• Create a fundraising page and commit to raising a minimum of £150.
• Consent to being added to an official WhatsApp group chat with Action For Humanity and Halal Tourism Britain. This group is essential for taking part in the event and will be used to share important details before the event, provide fundraising support, and coordinate communications on the day. Please note: Participation in the event requires joining this WhatsApp group. Without this, we cannot guarantee you will receive the information needed to take part.

This event is open to Muslim adults and families with children (children must be accompanied by an adult at all times). A reasonable level of fitness is required for walking and travelling across the city.

This treasure hunt will support Action For Humanity’s ongoing emergency response in Gaza, focusing on providing firewood to 600 displaced families in central and southern Gaza. Each family will receive 60kg of firewood: enough to cook food, boil water, and provide warmth for approximately one month.

In a time when cooking gas and electricity are almost non-existent, this project offers a lifeline to families facing extreme hardship. Your fundraising will help deliver:
