About this Event

You may have seen us at the Port Hope Arts Festival, at the Colborne Library, at the Capitol Theatre or on screens in your homes or on stages around the province over the years. We're back for more fun with fun and funny people like you.
Whether you're dusting off some old skills, building some new ones, or curious to try something new, this fun morning of improv games and script readings is for you!
Your facilitators:
Bruce Hunter worked at Second City for 27 years (on stages and in classrooms), is a member of the award-winning comedy troupe, The Illustrated Men, has appeared extensively on stages across Canada and Europe (including the Stratford Festival) and can be seen on tv and film (Schitt's Creek, Murdoch Mysteries, Baroness Von Sketch, Umbrella Academy, Puppets Who K*ll, Mean Girls, Good Will Hunting and more).
Erica May-Wood trained classically in the UK and has performed on stages across the province and in short films. She is an experienced facilitator, working with with folks of multiple ages, backgrounds and abilities. Her current practice focuses on participatory art, including a global project executed during the pandemic, a book being adapted into a play by a group of adults living with disability and a new play for kids - by kids. She can also be seen as the housekeeper that Chucky took out in the series of the same name.
