Acting Fundamentals invites kids in grades K-12 to explore the essential building blocks of theatrical performance through energetic group improvisation and collaborative exercises led by an artist educator from Kentucky Shakespeare. Participants will develop confidence, creativity, and communication skills while learning core acting techniques used from rehearsal to performance.
Using an actor’s most important tools such as body, voice, and imagination, participants will engage in hands-on activities that strengthen focus, teamwork, storytelling, and self-expression. Through guided exploration and performance-based exercises, participants gain a deeper understanding of character, movement, vocal expression, and the creative process in a fun and supportive environment.
