Acting for Stage

Hi my name is Jasmin Skeete and I will be running the camp. I have over 11 years of experience of working with young people between the ages of 11-21 in the world of theatre. I am an educator, acting coach, writer and director. I have a full enhanced DBS.

I have two former students of mine who will be supporting me across the 5 days both who have recently graduated from the BRIT school and are now at top London drama schools.

Daily times are 11am until 5pm, with a finish of 8pm on the last day as there will be a performance for friends and family to come along and watch.

Participants must ensure that they bring along a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of water with them each day. Please NO NUTS.

5 day programme:

DAY 1 - Introduction to acting for stage and devising theatre

DAY 2 - Developing characters and scenes

DAY 3 - Voice, physicality and movement

DAY 4 - Blocking and rehearsing

DAY 5 - Technical rehearsal and final performance
