At Ease in the Room
You walk into a room and make yourself smaller. Or you've wondered for years whether acting might help, but it seems terrifying to find out.
Perhaps it's the same old feedback you keep hearing, a change in life that has knocked you, a comment that stuck, and you've never had anywhere to properly explore what that means and how to move forward, until now. This is the space to try it all out.
Research into confidence consistently shows: doing is what builds it, not being told to feel it. That just makes things worse.
Four Wednesday evenings, using acting exercises, guided activities, and time to reflect, working with a highly experienced acting coach and a psychotherapist in the room. Not training, not work-based, not therapy. Just somewhere warm, creative and supported to find out what happens when the space sets you free.
Led by Jacqueline Silver and Catherine England Johnson. Jacqueline is the founder and director of The Still Room, trained as an actor in London and qualified to teach at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, with over twenty-five years of experience in education, coaching and the arts, including Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Guildhall Ignite. Catherine is a highly experienced Psychotherapist, a member of the Guild of Psychotherapists, and Spotlight.

Introductory Offer
£175 plus VAT
Deposit of £75 plus VAT (non-refundable) with balance due by course start date.
