This workshop covers lakescape painting and focuses on the use of color to represent reflections in water. Participants will follow step-by-step instructions with a demonstration by Prof. Yan Sun to create a lakescape painting. Tips of composition, color mixing, brushwork, as well as imaginative approach will be emphasized. This will be in a studio setting with preselected photo references provided or brought by yourself.
The workshop is open to all skill levels, and we provide the supplies you'll need, including an 11”x14” canvas and a palette; acrylic colors and brushes; as well as a brush washing container and paper towers.
Fee: $35 per participant. The fee is non-refundable but transferable to your friend or family if you can’t attend. (Fee is due on September 21, 2024.)
