Get into the holiday spirit by creating festive holiday cards to share with friends & family and 2 different holiday paintings to give as a gift or to decorate your home. On November14 we will kick off this class series by creating holiday cards - all materials will be supplied for a $15 fee. On November 21, students will create a bold abstract winter/holiday image on a wood panel – all materials will be supplied for a $15 fee. On Dec.5 & 12 students will work on a painting of their choice of a winter or holiday scene. This class series is open to beginning students as well as those with some painting experience. Lessons will include discussion of color, value, & composition.

Materials: A $15 per class materials fee will be charged for classes on Nov.14 &21 with the instructor supplying all materials. For classes on Dec.5 & 12,students will supply all materials including a sketch book and sketching tools, paint, brushes, pallet and painting surface of your choice. Some reference photos will be provided but students are encouraged to take and bring their own. Please bring a phone with a camera to aid in developing your painting and documenting your progress. Cathy will share a materials list with enrolled students.
