Fiery Flamingo - In this workshop we explore a close up of feathers in an impressionistic way. We apply easy background effects as well as feathering techniques made easy, working from
a clear close up photograph.
What you need to bring:
-Canvas 10' x 12',
-your usual painting gear
-easel and gladwrap.
Brushes required:
-Taklon brushes - 1/2" flat, 1/2' & 1/4" filbert rake or filbert comb (a normal filbert brush won’t work),
-0 liner,
-1/4" flat,
-1/2" dagger brush.
Acrylic Paints (Donna uses Matisse Structure Paints) -
-Antique White
-Mars Violet
-Aust Blue Gum
-Paynes Grey
-Aust Salmon Gum
-Van Dyke Brown
-Cadmium Red
-Skin Tone Deep
-Cadmium Yellow Medium
-Naples Yellow Light
