“Without a doubt, Across the Veil Constellations are the most profound healing modality I’ve seen for addressing bereavement, loss, and unfinished business with our dead.”
-Sheila S.
How Does it Work?
As a group, we explore deathly topics from individual participants. The death might be upcoming, or in the recent or more distant past.
You may come with your own topic, or participate in rituals for others’ topics, such as:
- Guilt, regret, or self-blame connected to a death
- Unfinished business, including estrangement or conflict before death
- Abortion, miscarriage, or pregnancy loss
- Death by suicide or substance use
- Dementia at the end of life
- Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD)
- Spiritual or intuitive experiences seeking context and integration
- Questions about the afterlife and the soul’s journey
- A sense that a deceased person has not crossed over, or is not at peace
- Supporting a loved one who is dying
- Understanding and preparing for your own death
- Claiming your identity as a modern Deathwalker
The process is slow and gentle, but deep. As we connect with the wisdom of the larger field, we create a strong healing space , and discover important truths about living and dying well.
You're welcome to engage in the experience of the weekend to the level that feels comfortable to you: as a witness, an active participant, or anything in between.
We enter through the gateway of death and loss, so the topics can be heavy, but what we find is deeply life-affirming.
You’ll leave feeling lighter, more connected, and with a renewed sense of meaning.
About Sarah
Sarah Kerr is a Death Doula, Sacred Deathcare Educator, and founder of the Centre for Sacred Deathcare. She has facilitated Across the Veil Constellations internationally since 2016.
With a PhD in Transformative Learning and almost three decades of training in spiritual and energetic healing traditions, Sarah brings together ritual practice, embodied knowing, and soul-based approaches to support the living, the dying and the dead.
Sarah creates a grounded, well-held space where participants can explore grief, death anxiety, unresolved relationships, and questions about the afterlife. Her work helps people deepen trust in the unseen world while remaining connected to choice, community, and the wisdom of the body.
”The care that Sarah takes as a facilitator is evident. Nothing - no emotion, no question, no matter - goes unaddressed. The feeling of inclusion and guidance is really important and handled beautifully. I felt very safe.”
-Nicole H.
For End-of-life Practitioners
If you support dying people and their families, part of what you bring to the process is your own embodied familiarity with the dying journey.
This deep relationship with death and loss is an energetic, rather than intellectual quality. People feel it, and it’s part of the healing gift you offer.
Participating in Across the Veil Constellations will build this embodied knowing.
It will deepen your relationship with the dying process and give you a bone-deep confidence and the language to support people as they navigate the soul's journey.
"I'm transformed every time I attend an Across the Veil Healing Constellation. I always feel in good hands as Sarah leads us fearlessly through places we thought we couldn't go."
-Rowan W.
Saturday Dinner
You’re warmly invited to join us on Saturday evening for an community dinner at Sarah’s house (10 min from the venue). There will be meat, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options available.
This is a lovely opportunity to unwind in a relaxed setting and connect with others in the group. Past participants have said that dinner was one of the highlights of the weekend. We hope you can join us.
