Walkers and runners are invited to enjoy this delightful route across the Afon Cynllaith through fields, woods, lanes and moorland, taking in hills either side of the Shropshire-Mid Wales border.
Both route options finish on the Offa's Dyke National Trail. The scenery is grand, the views are outstanding.
There will be the usual choice of routes:16 or 10 miles. Both routes start and finish in Trefonen and check in at Llansilin. The shorter route is circular, the longer route adds another circle to make a figure of eight with Llansilin at its centre- choose your route on the day, or even on the hoof. The routes follow delightful rights of way and also paths for which we have been granted permission for the day.
The route will be well marked and supervised; written directions given as back-up
