Alexandria Community Rowing, ACR, invites you to discover the sport of
rowing. Please join us at the Dee Campbell Boathouse any time between 8
am to 11am, Saturday, June 6th. Our coaches and crew members will
welcome you, provide a guided boathouse tour, demonstrate the
fundamentals of rowing on an ergometer (rowing machine), and
accompany you on the water as you put your new skills into practice.
Participants will be supported by experienced coaches and crew
throughout the event. For your comfort and safety, please wear tight-fitting
athletic clothing, sneakers, sunglasses or a hat, sunscreen, and bring water.
This event is open to all ages 13 and above; minors must be accompanied
by a parent or guardian. We look forward to sharing this rewarding
experience and strengthening community connections through rowing.
