MONDAY NOV 10, 2025 - WYEP 91.3 & Straub Brewing Presents: AcoustiCafe Open Stage with host Scarfire Media featuring Moonshine Jasmine and Craig Veltri!!Theme. PROTEST/ Change . Its that time of year when the weather and time change. It is also ( unfortunately) a time in history where we Need Change!!! Whether it is about the weather or about politics, Sing out your favorite songs about the change happening or the change you want to see.
SCARFIRE MEDIA LLC - The voice of the independent arts. Pittsburgh's newest artist development company made by musicians for musicians.
MOONSHINE JASMINE - Your Favorite Blues Rock Band. Bringing you retro vibes with a brand new flare.
MEGAN PENNINGTON - Redifining the idea of the DIY musician since 2014. Owns Scarfire Media and fronts Moonshine Jasmine, when she's not teaching guitar or playing solo.
CRAIG VELTRI -To turn a phrase from his song “Home Out on the Shore,” Craig Veltri is a “country/urban hybrid” In August 2020, Veltri released his first EP, Vagabond. Produced by former Charlie Daniels Band drummer, Jack Gavin, this EP is a culmination of Veltri "cutting his teeth" in Nashville for the previous 5 years.
Veltri has released 6 singles since Vagabond continuing to flex and stretch his creative range. Whether it be "Shine On", a Beatles inspired song penned by Veltri and produced by fellow Pittsburgh native Bryan Cole, or “Wandering Eye", a song with a Hank Williams inspired motif co-written by Abby Hankins and produced by PT Houston of Off The Row Studios, Craig Veltri intends to never shy away from any genre of music and refuses to be pigeonholed.
In November 2022, he released a video for the single "Makin' Noise on Music Row" filmed entirely on location in Nashville, TN with the help of Eli Adelman and Ten Bears Productions.
His latest record, a full length, acoustic, concept record entitled "Letters to the Defendant" details the downfall of his marriage due to alcoholism, his personal housecleaning and redemption. Letters to The Defendant is now available on limited edition vinyl.
DEB COOK is a Pittsburgh-based artist, singer-songwriter, and producer whose voice has been heard alongside countless musicians throughout the region’s vibrant music scene. After years of collaborating and lending her vocals to a wide range of artists, Deb is now stepping into her own spotlight, creating original music in partnership with acclaimed Pittsburgh songwriter Adam Levine under the project Aliquid Novi.
As the founder of Steel Kitty Productions, Deb has built a platform dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices in the arts. From curating open stages like AcoustiCafe to co-producing the Pittsburgh Women’s Music Festival, Deb has become a cornerstone in cultivating the city’s creative ecosystem.
With Aliquid Novi, Deb transforms her years of collaboration into a new chapter of personal expression. Working with Adam Levine, she blends evocative vocals with layered, genre-bending arrangements that capture raw emotion and hidden moments of beauty. The band’s album HEAT(2025) showcases Deb’s evolution from a sought-after supporting artist into a dynamic front-woman and co-creator.
Whether producing under the Steel Kitty banner or performing with Aliquid Novi, Deb Cook continues to shape Pittsburgh’s music culture—uniting her artistry, advocacy, and entrepreneurial spirit to uplift others while boldly embracing her own sound.
SNOWBALLS of LOVE: Everyone is asked to support the artists you enjoy by throwing Snowballs of Love at the stage (in addition to applause) to show how much you love your friends on stage. Plus it looks cool on the livestream - which happens thanks to the equally cool Wes Mason Media!
