Who are we?
The Basement Door (TBD) is a charity which advances the education of young people, aged 13 to 22, by providing training and experience through live music events. Young people learn new skills, gain confidence and make connections, through The Basement Door community. The skills they develop whilst working with TBD help them secure employment.
What are Acoustic Sessions?
Acoustic Sessions are an opportunity for young musicians to build their confidence in performing whilst meeting like-minded people. Our evenings provide a safe space for local singer-songwriters to share and grow their talents and begin to network within The Basement Door community. We encourage family, friends and audiences to come along and support young musicians and upcoming grassroots music.

Finn Calder:
Finn is a songwriter/guitarist/vocalist who is inspired by writing about subjects he feels will resonate with his audience.
Mia Asprey:
Mia Asprey is a singer-songwriter who has a passion for folk and pop music that conveys true emotion and storytelling.
Romilly:
Romilly is a London-based 17 year old singer-songwriter with a love for scathing lyrics hidden in pop songs.
Gracious Great Pear Tree:
Tweemo songs with anti-folk influences, take what you want and leave the rest on the tree.
