Matthew James Adkins is a singer/songwriter recording artist from Michigan, originally from Howell. He released his first original album “Stone On My Own” in September of 2021 with Whistle Pig Records out of Detroit. The music on this album has been categorized as “Country Soul”. It’s a unique blend of music which incorporates grit and soul into a catchy country beat mixed with a Detroit City sound.
