Please have participants complete 2025 ACLS Pre-Test & Pre-Course Work and bring certificate to class.
New with 2025 Guidelines, the AHA has made the pretest free and available to everyone. https://elearning.heart.org/course/1551 You will be required to make an account with the AHA. The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Recourse Self-Assessment evaluates a student’s knowledge before the course to evaluate proficiency and determine the need for additional review and practice. The ACLS Pre-course Work involves a student reviewing course content through online videos before entering the classroom. The video lessons cover multiple medical subjects, and each lesson includes questions to engage the student.All students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment and achieve a score of at least 70% before taking the ACLS Course.Students must print their scoring report and bring it with them to class.
This course will update and renew qualified providers in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. You must bring your current ACLS card to class. Participants must also be proficient in performing high quality basic life support skills, reading and interpreting electrocardiograms, understanding ACLS drugs, and bag valve mask ventilations. Participants must complete and pass the pre-course self-assessment with a score of 70 percent or higher. Textbook is mandatory and available for purchase at the college bookstore. Contact Hours: 7
