About this Event

Do you suffer from aches and pains?
Something can be done about it!

You are invited to celebrate World Humanitarian Day on Sat 29 August at 2pm.

As volunteers, we help people in many areas of life - be it with marriage, conflict resolution, learning difficulties and, on a bigger scale, disaster response.

On this day, we offer to teach you a unique technique - our renowned "assist" which literally can "assist" you in alleviating or recovering faster from aches, pains, illnesses and injuries.

It is a simple yet powerful skill you can use to help yourself or someone else. And it can bring results in as fast as a few minutes!

As part of the programme we will also acknowledge and hear from humanitarian community groups that are true heroes when it comes to unconditional help.

What the event will cover:

- Presentations from local humanitarian community groups

- How to deliver two of the main assists for aches and pains - workshop

- Practical demonstrations of application

- Receive your assist

The Scientology Volunteer Minister programme was launched in the mid-1970s by L. Ron Hubbard to help people—whether in everyday life or in times of disaster. Today, it’s one of the world’s largest independent relief forces.

L. Ron Hubbard developed a series of techniques known as “Assists”—practical tools that address the mental and spiritual aspects of physical difficulties. These techniques are widely used around the world and often bring fascinating results.
