Capper Hockey will also host the inaugural Big Classic showcase on the same weekend, November 21-24, 2024, at Canlan Ice Arena in Romeoville, Illinois. Two Big Classic showcase games will also be hosted at Canlan Ice Arena in West Dundee, Illinois. The Big Classic showcase will feature 12 of the ACHA teams that represent Big 10 conference schools.Eight ACHA Men’s Division II teams will participate in the Big Classic: Indiana University, Michigan State University, University of California-Los Angeles, University of Illinois, University of Iowa, University of Minnesota, University of Washington, and University of Wisconsin. Each team will play three games in three days in a tournament format, culminating in a Championship Game on Sunday, November 24th.
Four ACHA Men’s Division III teams will also participate in the Big Classic showcase. Northwestern University, Purdue University, University of Nebraska, and University of Notre Dame will each play three games in three days against one another during the showcase event.
