ACFS Drought Exercise & Governing Board Meeting

ACF Stakeholders will host their third annual ACF Basin Drought Exercise and Governing Board meeting on April 28-30, 2025 on the shores of beautiful West Point Lake. This is another great opportunity to connect with stakeholders from around the watershed as well as local, state and federal partners to discuss advancements in water management and conservation. Our meeting will be held at the brand new Oakfuskee Conservation Center just west of LaGrange, GA. A detailed agenda will be provided prior to the meeting but the following is a general outline of our time together:

• Monday, April 28 - 2:30pm - Optional boat tour of West Point Lake aboard the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's Floating Classroom.
• There are no plans for a sanctioned event Monday evening but plenty of folks will be in town so use this as a chance to fellowship with friends at one of the many great restataunts in LaGrange.
• Tuesday, April 29 - 8:30am - Breakfast
• Tuesday, April 29 - 9am - 5pm - ACF Basin Drought Exercise (w/ lunch break)
• Tuesday, April 29 - 5:30pm - Reception and Dinner
• Wednesday, April 30 - 8:30am - Breakfast
• Wednesday, April 30 - 9am - ACFS Governing Board meeting
• Wednesday, April 30 - 11:30am - Boxed lunch (to go or stay and eat with friends)

Full registration is $75 and includes meeting materials and all meals on April 29-30. Registration for only the Drought Exercise on April 29 is also available for $60. Additional guest tickets for the dinner/reception are available for $40. There is no cost for the optional boat tour on April 28 but space is limited so reserve your tickets early!
