Oxford University Quiz Society are delighted to announce we will be hosting the UK mirror of the 2024 edition of ACF Winter on Saturday, November 16th. This event is closed to non-students - ACF’s full eligibility rules are available at https://acf-quizbowl.com/eligibility-rules/. ACF Winter has the same question distribution as ACF regionals which can be found here: https://acf-quizbowl.com/distribution/. The set will not be Briticised. This event is co-hosted by OUQS and UKQB.The fees are as follows:
Base fee per team: £100
New to quizbowl discount: −£67.50
Shorthanded discount (1–2 players): −£25
Moderators: −£25 per moderator; if moderators are affiliated with a university, this can be deducted from the team’s fee.
Per Working Buzzer Set: -£5
The new to quizbowl discount is intended for universities that have not sent a team to any mainstream collegiate academic tournament (not counting exclusively novice tournaments) since September 2023, and which have no players who competed in non-novice collegiate tournaments during that same period.

The deadline for team signups is November 5th. The field cap for this tournament is 16. If we have more applicant teams, A and B teams from different institutions will be prioritised over C teams.
