About this Event

Lifelong Learning Dundee is delighted to offer this free talk with Judith Langlands-Scott and Shaun Wilson in recognition of International Women's Day.

Wednesday 12th March, from 2.00pm - 3.00pm. Room 2S12, Dalhousie Building, University of Dundee.

Join esteemed historians Judith Langlands-Scott and Shaun Wilson

as they present a comprehensive examination of the Dundee and

Angus Witch Hunts. This informal-style lecture will explore the

intricate historical context surrounding these tragic events,

shedding light on the experiences of the women accused of

witchcraft in Dundee, Forfar, and across Angus. Attend this

insightful session as we honour and commemorate those who

suffered, in recognition of International Women’s Day.
