Accompanying the Bereaved: How to Be Present with Those Grieving
When someone we love is grieving, it's natural to feel helpless. This four-week course, led by Pastor Art Phillips, will guide us in how to accompany those who mourn—offering presence, care, and understanding rather than trying to "fix" their pain. Together, we'll explore faithful and practical ways to walk alongside the bereaved with compassion.
Accompanying the Bereaved will meet on Tuesdays starting Sept. 30, at either 2:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. in Lower Fellowship Hall. Pre-registration is encouraged and reserves a copy of the book Stay for the Cup of Coffee by Dr. Alan Wolfelt ($8).
