- Applicants on ODSP, Ontario Works or El are welcome to apply
- Open to IES referrals (Generalist & Specialist clients)
What We Provide:
- No costs involved for the participants
- 4-week entry-level food preparation and cooking training program
- Food Handlers and CPR/First Aid Certifications available
- NEW! Greenhouse experience growing microgreens and herbs to complement dishes
- NEW! Experience as a marketplace ambassador at the Farmers Market
- WHMIS Certification included
- Hands-on workshops with Professional Guest Chefs
- Intensive workshops on resume writing, interview preparation, life skills and customer service
July Session: July 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29 & 31
August Session: Aug. 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 29, 31, Sept. 2, 4 & 12
*Must attend all days in a session
